Lighting Cameraman Equipment
Having the latest equipment that's regularly maintained to a high standard is so important to working on today“s productions. That“s why at Create Pictures the equipment that I supply is not only state of the art but also includes a superior range of accessories. I can supply any High Definition or Standard definition format but out of choice HD cam is my preferred HD format and Digital Betacam for Standard definition work.

Canon HJ11 x 4.7 HD wide angle lens

35mm Prime lenses with Pro 35 adapter available if required. Normally used for high-end drama/ promo shoots.
A chroziel matte box is supplied as standard but an Arri Production Matte box with follow focus unit can be hired for drama/ promo shoots.

Lighting
I use Chimera Sofboxes when doing most of my lighting. I find using these softboxes produces a beautiful quality of softlight perfect for lighting interviews and presenters.

I've recently made a significant investment in a range of Florescent lights similar to KinoFlo lights, these lights can be used in either tungsten or daylight form and gives a fantastic quality of light. The lights are perfect for lighting a large area's where a lot of quality soft light is required. Their also perfect for any studio shoots such as filming chroma key etc. These light are not normally included as part of a standard kit so, an additional charge of £200 per day will be made for their use but the results are fantastic. I also regularly work with a lighting gaffer who can supply a wide selection of HMI / MSR lights and an additional extensive range of kino flo lights. Grip Equipment
Losmandy portable jib. £75 per day
Ground to 2.5m high with fast set up time and very portable. With this jib arm you can create very effective, creative shots.
Wally Dolly camera tracking system. £50 per day
This is a small lightweight yet very effective way to achieve a camera track without the usual long set up time and the need for a separate van to carry the track and dolly. The kit fits into a case the size of a tripod bag and is set up within 5 minutes and can create a 5m long track. A smooth level surface is required for using this system.
Sound
When working with a sound recordist a full sound kit with 2 radio microphones is included.

The Crew Van
I use a new VW Transporter combi as the crew vehicle. This is a perfect vehicle for film crews as it can carry all the equipment which is secured in the back of the van. It can also carry up to 3 production personnel. The van has been modified with all modern extras Satellite Navigation, CD player and hands free mobile.
